About Me

The goal for the recreation working group is to create a comprehensive watershed-wide recreation system, for both non-motorized and motorized use, that educates users on the natural and human history of the Lower Virgin River watershed and responsible OHV and hiking use. The strategies identified include developing a vision for the recreation system, assisting the City of Mesquite in an update of the citywide recreation plan, facilitating the content and dissemination of information on recreational opportunities in the watershed, and completing a watershed-wide recreation system plan.
